The magnum clings to the pavement quite well. It is a fast car that looks like a truck and handles like a smooth german cruiser. It rumbles smoothly out to pass, breezes past other cars, and settles back into the travel lane imperceptibly. In hard cornering, there is no evidence of body roll, and disc brakes all around give it flat, straight, swift stops. The magnum does look pretty cool for a station wagon, and it handles more like a sport sedan. The magnum's interior is comfortable, spacious and happily uncomplicated. There is no confusing mass of buttons and controls on the dash. Everything is within reach and easy to use. The magnum feels great from the driver's seat, which is firm and comfortable. Backseat legroom and headroom are plentiful. Five occupants can fit inside the magnum, which has a 60/40-split, folding rear seat.
